Many Surprises!

Many many birthdays this week! Last Saturday was Angela's and Serinder's, yesterday was mine, today is Mdm Chien's, Friday will be Albert's and Xuan's, Sat will be Gwen's and Sun will be Lynn's. Phew! I've sung the birthday song many many times.

Anyway, I really thank God for all the wonderful friends that He has put into my life. They really made my life very colourful.

Friday: My CG celebrated my birthday with me after CGM. Thank you N333!

Saturday: I went to eat with Shi with an intention to bless her. But Deb blessed us instead. Thanks Deb for always being so generous. We didn't take any photo!! Then Shi and I went to Chijmes' Insomia to meet Aaron and Edmund. I love the live band there. Very fun! But Edmund find it boring. Hee!

Surprise 1: My brother came out of his room to pass me a gift when I got home. It's a bracelet from him and my sis-in-law from Mintmark & Co.


Sunday: Went to the movie, "Mamma Mia!" together with Weilieh, Eunice, MK and Sky. It was a very nice show! I loved musical. Thanks Weilieh for the treat and coming all the way to Singapore for service and spending time with me. Then, I went to meet my family to have dim sum at Rui Chun. Although it's really cheap, it isn't as nice as what we had on Saturday at Deb's working place. Anyway, eating out with my family usually takes less than 30 minutes. =(

Surprise 2: Terry and Kim appeared at my house at about 10.45pm to wish me an early Happy Birthday and to give me a very nice black jacket from MANGO!

Monday was a day of many actions.

Surprise 3: Lynn went to my last class of the day to tell them to sing me a birthday song. I really didn't expect that. Coincidentally, there were another 2 other gals' birthday on the same day too! So we sang birthday song 3 times. Haha!

Then at 1pm, we sang birthday song for Serinder and then for me and then for Mdm Chien and lastly for Angela! We really sang very loudly. Hahahaha! I think it's quite fun!

Surprise 4: The nice flower clip from Gwen and present from my angel, Mdm Sim.


Here's what inside the very nicely wrapped gift from Mdm Sim - A very exquisite box! I was really touched.. Because I don't know her well but she has been very encouraging and loving towards me. I'll be keeping her in my prayers for good health!


Thank you Yng Ling, Marina, Mr Low, Yee Jia, Stella, Yanling, Stephanie, Serinder, Wendi, Aaron, Jayne, Lynn, Mrs Chan, Ling Er and Diana for the gifts!! A very pretty tube dress and some cosmetics from Bodyshop!

We went to MOF at Bugis at about 3pm and did many silly things together. It was really a relaxing and fun time with all of them. Thanks Elaine and Meiling for taking their precious time off to join us!

Thanks Lynn for planning such a wonderful getaway with all these wonderful ones. I'm really blessed to have you as my friend. I'm utterly sorry for the times that I had shouted at you. Always regretted after that.. But I know I will never be able to take back my words again. Sorry becomes useless. I never want to take you for granted. Told myself never to shout at anyone (except the kids) again. Thanks friend! You are fantastic! I love you and your kids!!!

For dinner, I went to Bugis Chong Qing Steamboat with Eunice, MK, Xin, Sky and Ken. I was really thankful for this bunch of good friends too. All came after a long tiring day just to spend time with me on my special day. Thanks guys!!! The only regret was, I didn't take a picture with all of you!

Thanks Wen, Eunice, MK, Xin and Suzy for the Starhub voucher. I really need this in order to get a new phone of my choice. Thanks for your generous giving despite the big Building Fund that's coming along soon. From Eunice and Xin's sms, I can really sense their great love for me.. Cos both of them told me to get a phone that I really like.


Surprise 5: Ken gave me a very nice bouquet of flowers. Thanks Ken for being such a nice brother and friend all these while. You always have a very generous spirit. Thanks for keeping your promise of not getting a gift. These flowers really came as a surprise. Thanks for being who you are.


And I thought that's the end of my birthday for this year... I got another surprise in school today!

Surprise 6: A bouquet of flowers was delivered to my school! I was really surprised! Plus it's from Shi! That was a double surprise for me! Thanks Shi for the beautiful yellow roses and white daisies. Thanks for the pleasant surprise and indeed, a toast to our friendship! Hee! I'll really give you a few more toast the next time we meet! Shi, you are one of the few that I can bear my heart to without fearing of you judging me. Thanks for lending a listening ear and giving me support in times of my needs. Thanks for the very sincere friendship.


So it was really a very happening birthday this year. All made possible by my wonderful friends! If you've been my friend long enough, you'll know that it's not easy to surprise me. Well, but this year I had 6 pleasant surprises. Well done friends! Thanks for giving me such an unforgetable birthday. I love all of you.. From the bottom of my heart!
